Rooted in place, shaped by story.

Tracing the intersections of people, place, and the natural world.

About the Work

Rooted in documentary photography, the practice explores the intersections of people, place, and the natural world through work that is both observational and deeply connected to process.

Using 35mm film, alternative photographic processes, and mixed media, the work is shaped by time spent in the field—documenting river systems, watersheds, native species, and the landscapes and communities connected to them, creating visual narratives that reflect a strong sense of belonging.

Grounded in a close relationship to subject and environment, the work guided by a belief that connection fosters care—that art can deepen our sense of stewardship and help create a lasting relationship with the spaces we move through.
